A little about CP Company 

CP Company was originally conceived by Massimo Ostithough around 1974 under the name "Chester Perry" (the name originating from a little known comic strip of the time).

The CP Company brand and clothing was influenced by the military and workwear of the time with a clear emphasis on the cut and quality of the clothing. These same influences of military / workwear are shared by Massimo's other famous designer label - Stone Island.

Whilst Stone Island, created in the 80's, concentrated on material technology combined with a more casual appearance the CP Company brand concentrates of form and functionality, employing technical details to enhance and generate the designer look. In the past CP Company have added things like deep pockets, smog masks, watchviewers and extra durable materials for specific conditions to create a truly unique fashion statement.

Iconic is a word often used to describe the clothing of CP Company; Classics such as the Metropolis, Move, Glove, Life & Munch from the Urban Protection Range have created a loyal and devoted following; the CP Company and Stone Island brands being especially popular within the UK's casual football scene culture.

Never a company to sit still and rest the CP Company brand has, over time, been expanded to include CP Company Donna and CP Company Children labels, each with their own unique designs — but still keeping to the CP Company philosophy of form and function combined with cutting edge design and technical processes. 

A Thousand Miles Of History

Yet another classic from this world famous designer label is the Mille Miglia (thousand mile) Goggle Jacket. First introduced over 20 years ago this legendary jacket was created as a tribute to the Mille Miglia endurance race held from Brescia to Rome and back — a distance of 1009 miles, the record being held by Sir Stirling Moss with a time of 10 hours 8 minutes.

Sometimes referred to as Goggle Coats the Goggle Jacket has inspired fans throughout the years; so much so that CP Company recently held a special exhibition to celebrate this iconic jackets 20th anniversary. The event, held over 23rd 24th October 2009 at the Henry Moore Gallery, London Royal College of Art, not only celebrated 20 years of production but also the launch of the 20th Anniversary Special Edition jacket designed by Aitor Throup.
